I am a qualified counselling practitioner and a member of the BACP whose ethical framework I adhere to.  I’m trained in an Integrative approach using a basis in humanistic therapy so I can adapt my modality to the client in front of me. 
 

I work with many different issues from Trauma to grief and loss, anxiety and behavioural problems with many more in between.  I’m an experienced young persons counsellor and work with in the secondary schools in Torfaen providing counselling to 11- to 20-year-olds and I undertake regular training opportunities to expand my knowledge and experience.

In my private practice I work with adults of all ages and demographics helping with various aspects of mental health issues across multiple locations and organisations in South Wales. 
 

I provide peer support sessions to student counsellors at a local charity where I volunteer and undertake inductions and training to students.   My training included providing counselling services for Mind Newport and Sesame counselling utilising both face to face and telephone sessions.

I’ve had a varied life and working experience including running my own business; up until now that’s led me on my path to become a counsellor and I believe I’m open, empathic and honest with my clients. I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment as we explore the issues that’s brought you to therapy.
 

Stephen's fee is £35 per session. Available for face to face sessions at Cardiff Bay.
