If you’re here, it’s likely you’re facing some challenges and seeking support. I want to assure you that you’ve taken a significant and courageous step by reaching out.
I am a Trainee Counselling Psychologist at the University of South Wales, offering face-to-face therapy for adults. My approach is integrative, blending humanistic/relational, psychodynamic, and CBT techniques. My therapeutic philosophy centres on free will, self-discovery, and helping you reach your full potential. Whatever your goals in therapy, we will collaborate to explore what makes you unique, focusing on your individual experience and your relationship with the world around you. Our sessions will be guided by your needs and the issues you wish to address, empowering you to reflect on your feelings and take responsibility for your thoughts and actions.
I understand that seeking support can be daunting and may make you feel vulnerable. That’s why I offer a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where we can work through the difficulties that may be impacting your happiness, work, or relationships.
I am a qualified and practising Psychotherapist with a BSc in Psychology, a Certificate in Counselling Skills, and a Diploma in CBT Therapy. My experience spans various helping roles in the charity sector, NHS, and private healthcare.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and someone living with a learning disability, I have a particular passion for supporting individuals within marginalised communities. Having faced discrimination and mental health challenges myself, I understand what it’s like to navigate a world that often doesn’t recognise or appreciate our differences. I know how isolating that can be.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, or relaxing with some light-hearted TV and cuddling my beautiful, albeit sassy, pug.
Thank you for your time. I wish you all the best on your therapy journey.
