What to expect from couselling

Counselling in Cardiff & Online

We’re here to support you in whatever way suits you best—whether it’s online or face-to-face sessions. Our counsellors can work any individuals 18 years or older. All of our therapists are registered with a professional body such as the BACP, UKCP, etc.

Support that suits your needs

Unlike most organisations, we don’t cap the amount of sessions you can have with a counsellors. We offer both short-term and long-term therapy.

Safe & confidential support

Whether there’s a specific challenge you’re facing, or you just aren’t feeling yourself right now, our counsellors work with you in a safe, confidential space.

2. Book an appointment

When are you ready to book, we confirm your appointment using
our booking system Sign in Scheduling. The confirmation will contain important information such as a meeting link & payment information.

3. Start counselling

Start sessions at a day and time that suits you.

How much does it cost?
Depending on the level of experience of the counsellor, a session costs between £15 and £35.
How does it work? How do I book a session?
To book a session please fill out our inquiry form or send an email to affordabletalkservice@gmail.com.
Can I speak to a therapist before booking a session with them?
Unfortunately, that is not possible. We always aim to book you with a counsellor whose experience matches your needs.
I don’t live in Cardiff, Wales - Can you still help me?
Yes! We offer counselling online to anyone living in the UK.
How many counselling sessions can I have?
You can have as many sessions as you would like.
What if I am not happy with the therapy I received?
We understand that it may take some time to find the right therapist. If needed, we are happy to refer you to one of our other therapists. To discuss any concerns you have regarding the service you received, please email affordabletalkservice@gmail.com.
Do you offer free counselling?
We can offer occasional free sessions if we have received a donation or funding. These opportunities would be advertised on our website and socials.
